Joshua Kimmich: Bayern Munich Star Returns to Full Fitness

German International Set to Make Comeback

Nagelsmann Hails Kimmich's Return as Boost for Bayern

Bayern Munich head coach Julian Nagelsmann has expressed his delight as star defender Joshua Kimmich returns to full fitness. The German international has been sidelined since November with a knee injury, but Nagelsmann is confident that Kimmich will be a valuable asset to the team as they push for success in the second half of the season.

"It's great to have Joshua back," Nagelsmann said at a press conference. "He's a key player for us, and his return will give us a big boost. He's a versatile player who can play in several positions, and his experience and quality will be invaluable to us."

Kimmich, who made his professional debut for Bayern in 2015, has established himself as one of the best full-backs in the world. He has won six Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokals, and the UEFA Champions League with Bayern, and he has also represented Germany at the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship.

The 27-year-old's return to fitness comes at an important time for Bayern. The German giants are currently top of the Bundesliga table, but they face a tough run of fixtures in the coming weeks, including clashes with Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, and Liverpool.

Nagelsmann is confident that Kimmich will be ready to play a part in these crucial matches. "He's been working hard in training, and he's looking sharp," Nagelsmann said. "He's not fully match fit yet, but he's getting there. I expect him to be available for selection for our next game."
