SUNRISE, Fla. -- The Florida Panthers have taken an early lead in the Stanley Cup Final, defeating the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 in Game 1 on Thursday night.
Sergei Bobrovsky was spectacular in net for the Panthers, stopping all 30 shots he faced. The Russian goaltender has now won his last six starts and has a 1.21 goals-against average and .960 save percentage in the playoffs.
